Announcement of AI Seminar

On March 4, 2026, Kyoto University Graduate School of Management (GSM) will host a conference titled "Corporate Value Creation and Governance in the AI Era: Essential Knowledge for the New Trends in Data Sovereignty and Governance."

Inviting experts at the forefront of AI governance, asset management, and financial AI practice, this seminar aims to provide essential insights for executive leadership. We will integrate policy directions, practical expertise, and academic validation.

Speakers Profile

Shotaro Minami

Associate Professor at Kyoto University GSM, Ph.D. in Economics. He bridges theory and practice through engagement investment and AI-driven fund design. His current focus is on the fusion of management and AI through academia-industry collaboration.

Hiroki Habuka

Visiting Professor at Kyoto University, CEO of Smart Governance Inc., Lawyer. A leading figure in digital policy, he served at METI in drafting AI governance policies and was selected as one of the "50 Most Influential People in Public Sector Transformation" by the World Economic Forum.

Takeshi Izaki

Head of Enterprise at NVIDIA Japan. Director of the Japan Deep Learning Association, leading the business development of AI and deep learning in Japan.

Hideya Suzuki

CEO of Ippu Senkin Inc. Formerly at Nomura Research Institute, he operates at the forefront of AI and Generative AI utilization in the financial sector, bridging theory and practice.

Yuko Ezure (Moderator)

Economic Caster (M.A. in Economics). Long-standing experience in economic and financial broadcasting, providing insightful commentary on financial markets and investment strategies.
