Thank you for your interest in our laboratory. We receive numerous inquiries regarding joint research, funding, and lab visits from organizations and individuals outside the university. While we sincerely wish to respond to each one with care, we have established the following guidelines to balance these engagements with our core research and educational activities. We appreciate your understanding.
From the perspective of prioritizing the social significance and public benefit of our research outcomes, we give priority consideration to proposals that meet one or more of the following criteria:
Please note that we may be unable to accept proposals that do not align with the above criteria, or due to commitments to existing projects. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
Consultations regarding joint research, funding, and related matters are generally coordinated with relevant departments within the university. Even if you contact us directly via email, we may redirect your inquiry to the appropriate university office as needed.
When making an inquiry, we kindly ask that you prepare a brief written summary of your proposal (approximately a few A4 pages). After reviewing the materials, if we determine the proposal aligns with our laboratory's mission, we will arrange a more detailed discussion.
Requests to visit our laboratory are also evaluated through the same process outlined above. We are unable to accommodate visits or meetings at the stage before a written proposal has been submitted. We appreciate your understanding.
We understand this process may cause some inconvenience for those who have taken the time to reach out to us. We hope you appreciate that these measures are in place to make the most effective use of limited research resources and to deliver research outcomes of genuine value to society.
